Ela Yokes is an independent photographer and journalist based between Istanbul, Turkey, and Khartoum, Sudan. She graduated from University College London in 2021 with a degree in Arabic and French. Her current work covers issues relating to human rights and migration, with a focus on communities affected by conflict or persecution in the Middle East and East Africa.
